Save the Date for the L.E.G.A.C.Y. Awards Gala
Join World Business Chicago on February 29 to Celebrate Black Entrepreneurship
On Saturday, February 29, join World Business Chicago in attending the L.E.G.A.C.Y. Awards Gala to highlight Chicago leaders in multiple industries.
The annual gala will take place at Malcom X College where 7 awards will be given to Chicago area leaders in L.E.G.A.C.Y (leadership, education, growth, advocacy, community outreach, and youth). World Business Chicago’s President & CEO, Andrea Zopp will be receiving the L.E.G.A.C.Y Award for Leadership for her efforts to empower the business community in Chicago.
World Business Chicago’s Neighborhoods and Strategic Initiatives (NSI) team will have an informational table at the event and will be sharing information on all core initiatives. Bernita Johnson-Gabriel, Executive Vice President for NSI will also be giving a brief presentation for attendees.
The gala will include scheduled time for business networking and will showcase black restaurants. Additionally, 3 young entrepreneurs will be recognized during a pitch competition at the event.
