CHICAGO, June 27, 2002 – Mayor Richard M. Daley today announced the appointment of J. Christopher Reyes (48) to the World Business Chicago Board of Directors. World Business Chicago is a public-private economic development organization chaired by Mayor Daley and Aon President and COO, Michael D. O’Halleran.
Reyes is Chairman of Reyes Holdings, L.L.C., a Rosemont-based food and beverage distribution company that tied for the rank as the 35th largest privately-held company in the U.S. by Forbes magazine in 2001. He joins a 23-member Board focused on leading and educating the Chicago business community in promoting the Chicago region as a global business destination.
“The addition of Chris to this distinguished group of business leaders signifies World Business Chicago’s commitment to showcasing Chicago as the ideal place to run a successful, world-class business,” said Mayor Daley. “I am confident this Board will continue to be successful in planning for the future and ensuring Chicago remains a global business destination.”
