Chicago Venture Summit
The Chicago Venture Summit brings together Chicagoland’s startup entrepreneurs, students and innovators to promote an inclusive and equitable tech, innovation, and startup ecosystem.
Initially founded by then-Pritzker Group Founder J.B. Pritzker in 2014 and orchestrated by World Business Chicago, the Chicago Venture Summit has consistently been a magnet for tech and innovation leaders throughout the Midwest and across the country. Last year’s summit, the third edition dedicated to the future of food, has garnered immense attention — Over 600 startup CEOs, investors, Fortune 500 executives, and industry leaders gathered at the iconic 167 N Green Street in the Fulton Market District, a convening that epitomizes the strength of the Chicago region’s dynamic and burgeoning food and agtech landscape.

Hosted annually by World Business Chicago and Chicago Sister Cities International, the Gala welcomes members of the Chicago Consular Corps—one of the largest in the U.S., representing over 80 countries—as distinguished guests. This elegant evening not only showcases Chicago’s global reach and commitment to international collaboration, but also supports the next generation of leaders through the Chicago Consular Corps Scholarship Fund at the University of Illinois Chicago.
