Crain’s Chicago: City officials to head to China on trade mission

Top city officials are headed to China next month in an effort to raise Chicago’s international profile and boost its economy.

Deputy Mayor Steve Koch, World Business Chicago CEO Jeff Malehorn and a crew of officials from local businesses will visit Shanghai, the coastal city that is considered China’s financial capital, and Shenyang, an inland industrial center.
