Blue Chip Marketing Worldwide Expanding into Downtown Chicago
New ‘plug-and-play’ office concept offers flexibility to employees, and establishes launching pad to expand international opportunities
Northbrook-based Blue Chip Marketing Worldwide announced it is expanding into downtown with a new Chicago office for its employees to use beginning this week. The new “plug-and-play” office is located on the fifth floor of 10 W. Hubbard St. in River North, space formerly occupied by Steve Stoute and Jay-Z’s New York-based Translation Marketing. The office currently accommodates 25 employees with an opportunity to expand and will foster a mobile office culture with open workstations for anyone in the agency to use.
“The Chicago office will provide Blue Chip access to the great amenities that the city has to offer,” said World Business Chicago (WBC) President & CEO Jeff Malehorn. “We welcome Blue Chip downtown and look forward to working together as we continue to make Chicago the premier location for companies to thrive.”
The new office is consistent with the agency’s efforts to offer its employees a unique sense of work-life balance while continuing its exponential growth.
“We believe this office represents the future of the adaptable workplace,” said Stanton Kawer, CEO of Blue Chip Marketing Worldwide. “It’s a completely flexible space that’s truly designed for our employees to work and take advantage of everything Chicago has to offer.”
Blue Chip also believes that the Chicago office will provide a springboard for more international opportunities. “Chicago is a global city, so it makes sense for us to be there. We have expanded our international work to at least 20 other countries, and are seeking to broaden our global work,” added Kawer.
Becoming the place where cutting-edge business services are being developed and provided is a key component of Mayor Emanuel’s Plan for Economic Growth and Jobs. World Business Chicago (WBC) is currently implementing the Plan in order to ensure companies such as Blue Chip – and its clients – thrive in the city.
The agency is among the fastest growing independent marketing firms in the country. Blue Chip has been named to Crain’s Chicago Business “Fast Fifty” four consecutive years in a row, and this year to date has seen a net revenue increase of 38% over last year. Its recent string of new business wins includes Chicago-based Azteca Foods, Sunstar Americas, Inc., Feld Entertainment, Ricola, Celestial Seasonings, Amgen, Merck, and the Network of Executive Women.
