Applications Open for 2020 Global Youth Ambassadors Leadership Summit
Summit Will Take Place July 11 – 18, 2020 in Chicago
From July 11-18, 2020, Chicago Sister Cities International (CSCI) and the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) will host the Global Youth Ambassadors Leadership Summit. The Summit is an intensive leadership program in Chicago designed to build the next generation of global leaders. It is open to teenage girls, ages 14–16, from Chicago and its 29 international sister cities.
The Summit provides a globally-immersive experience for leadership development, cross-cultural awareness, and civic exchange while building relationships to last a lifetime. The girls experience Chicago with their peers while engaging with Chicago’s business and civic leaders and participating in workshops, discussions, and presentations on advocacy, activism, and leadership.
Since its inception in 2016, more than 360 girls have participated in the overall Global Youth Ambassadors Leadership Program, with 95 of them participating in the Chicago Summit.
