Congratulations Cinespace Chicago Film Studios on its acquisition by TPG Real Estate. This is a prime example of why the expansion of our film and TV industry remains a strong strategy of the mayor’s Recovery Task Force report. Chicago has a great central location, plentiful space, diverse talent, and a lower cost of doing business over NY and LA.

The State of Illinois is the #1 state for film production in the Midwest where over half of those employed are people of color and women.
