The National Science Foundation Designates Chicagoland as a Quantum Hub

The federal government under the Biden-Harris administration, names the Chicago region as an Innovation Technology Hub for Quantum Tech. This milestone for Chicago land is a prestigious recognition that opens doors to new federal funding, and solidifies Chicago’s position as a hub for the country’s quantum economy. The effort to win the Innovation Technology hub was due to a strong collaboration of industry, academia, government, and nonprofit stakeholders led by the Chicago Quantum Exchange.

Quantum technology has the potential to revolutionize various economic sectors, from finance to medicine to national security, and this designation will pave the way for many new job opportunities and inclusive economic growth. Chicago is unequivocally the epicenter for the business of the future. hashtagQuantumTech hashtagInnovationHub
