This year 25 doctors from 21 countries were accepted to the Chicago Sister Cities Medical Initiative!
World Business Chicago (WBC) & Chicago Sister Cities International (CSCI) are pleased to announce that this year, 25 doctors from 21 countries were accepted to the Chicago Sister Cities Medical Initiative, which will take place October 3 – 6, 2019. We look forward to welcoming these incredible physicians to Chicago for the 2019 Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Symposium.
Since 2009, CSCI has partnered with the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University on the Chicago Sister Cities International Medical Initiative.
Through a generous grant from the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation, in conjunction with the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, a competitive process awards clinicians from Chicago’s sister cities with the opportunity to attend the annual Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Symposium held in Chicago.
The symposium, which attracts 800 physicians, is an annual professional educational event providing recent clinical and scientific advances in breast cancer research. The program is an unrivaled opportunity to collaborate with a world-renowned cancer center, to meet breast cancer experts from around the world, and to learn about practical patient care strategies and the exciting possibilities of breast cancer research.
