Position Summary
The responsibility of the Event Manager will be to support World Business Chicago’s multiple teams (Business Development, Innovation & Venture, Research, Community Impact, Global Strategic Initiatives) in ideating and executing events that enhance our organization as a convener. This role’s primary function is to own all event logistics from start to finish, including but not limited to, researching and selecting the most appropriate vendors and venues, managing contracts, registration, etc. Many of our events are federally funded and therefore limitations apply. The Event Manager position is full-time.
