About the Job: Director, Community Impact
World Business Chicago (WBC) is a public-private, non-profit partnership that drives inclusive economic growth and job creation, supports business, and promotes Chicago as a leading global city.
WBC supports Chicago communities and neighborhoods and works to drive inclusive economic growth with impact and investment in all Chicago’s neighborhoods. The Community Impact team supports equitable economic growth and strives to execute on the INVEST South/West (ISW) program. INVEST South/West is one of the existing strategies for acceleration and scalability within Chicago’s disinvested neighborhoods. ISW is a community improvement initiative to marshal the resources of multiple City departments, community organizations, and corporate partners toward 10 initial neighborhoods and 12 targeted commercial corridors on Chicago’s South and West Sides.
The Director of the Community Impact is a full-time position that reports to the Vice President of Community Impact.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
