2017 Chicago Consular Corps Gala: A Tribute to Our Global Partners
Premier international event honors the Chicago Consular Corps, representing 86 countries around the world
World Business Chicago and Chicago Sister Cities International will host the Chicago Consular Corps Gala: A Tribute to Our Global Partners, on December 8, 2017 at Hilton Chicago.
The annual Gala is Chicago’s premier international event honoring the Chicago Consular Corps (CCC)—an international group of Consulates, Consulates General and Honorary Consulates representing 86 countries around the world, and celebrating the longstanding relationship between the city and the Consular Corps.
More than 600 guests are expected to attend the black-tie event, which raises nearly $1 million each year to support the work of World Business Chicago, Chicago Sister Cities International and the Chicago Consular Corps scholarships to the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Ms. Amy Rule, and the Dean of the CCC, the Honorable Patricia Maza-Pittsford and Mr. Philip Pittsford, serve as Honorary Chairs.
